ICS2-ENS – EU Advanced Security Filing

As from 1st April 2025 all cargoes moving to/from or via the European Union will be subject to ICS2-ENS filing. This includes anything remaning on board a vessel whilst in transit at any EU port.

This is the EU Customs Advance Cargo information system. ENVIO INTERNATIONAL will commence filing of any applicable cargo travelling on a route subject to this ruling and will apply a charge of $35 per filing to clients commencing April 1st 2025.

Due to European ports being called after the UK in the majority of export services, it’s likely that cargo will need to be filed as FROB or “foreign retained on board” to comply with the regulations. For further clarification on this please contact our office.
